It is important to know how the Parks are run and who to contact. Southwark Parks have a group of people who are responsible for all the parks in Southwark and below are a list of the different teams. The general phone number for all is 0207 525 2000.
Area Park managers
The responsibility of the Park Managers is to oversee the day to day running of the Park. They make sure everyone is doing their best to keep the Park clean, safe and well managed.
Community Outreach team
There are four officers, an ecology officer and an officer responsible for the youngsters using the Park.
These officers work to keep the horticultural standards high across the parks. They also oversee the grounds maintenance contractor, Quadron. Quadron are responsible for every day tasks such as cutting the grass, clearing litter, removing graffiti, looking after the trees and planting out flowers.
This team regularly patrol the Park to make sure they are safe places for the public to visit. They also work in partnership with a range of agencies to tackle anti social behaviour and deal with people who cause nuisance in the parks. They will report any damage to Quadron to rectify.
